Stairway To The Pinnacles

Coromandel peninsula was the first place the weather was on our side. Again, we were staying at AirBNB, this time at Suzanne's place which was amazing. On Thursday we drove around the peninsula. The view was amazing.

We arrived to the cathedral cove viewpoint, a 5 minute walk to the beach turned up to be a 45 minutes walk but it was worth it.

We ate lunch at "The Pepper Tree" restaurant - highly recommend! The day after we went to the Pinnacles trek. In my opinion the trek is too hard and not rewarding enough. Don't get me wrong, it was beautiful but 14 km with uneven, too big stairs made the 750 meter climb very hard. That's why I decided to call this post Stairway To The Pinnacles.

Coromandel was wonderful but it's time to move south. Next stop is the Hobbiton at Matamata.
